Terms of Service – Oinkly: Savings Goal Tracker

Effective date: 13 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the Oinkly: Savings Goal Tracker app (the “Application”) for iPhone, created by Ankit Saxena (the “Service Provider”). By downloading or using the Application you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

1. This agreement is with the Service Provider, not Apple

You acknowledge that these terms are concluded between you and the Service Provider alone, and not with Apple Inc. The Service Provider, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Application and its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the Application.

2. Licence

The Service Provider grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Application on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This licence is personal to you.

3. What Oinkly is, and what it is not

Oinkly is a savings goal tracker. It records what you tell it about money you have set aside, and it keeps score so that saving feels rewarding.

  • Oinkly is not a bank and is not a financial institution of any kind.
  • Oinkly never holds, moves, transfers or has access to your money. It does not connect to your bank account, card or any payment service.
  • Oinkly does not provide financial, investment or tax advice. Nothing in the Application is a recommendation to save, spend or invest in any particular way.
  • The figures shown are whatever you have entered. The Service Provider cannot verify them and is not responsible for their accuracy.

You decide where your money actually lives. Oinkly only keeps score.

4. Restrictions

You may not copy or modify the Application or any part of it, attempt to extract its source code, translate it into other languages, or create derivative works from it. All trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

5. Oinkly Pro subscription

Oinkly is free to use with one active goal at a time, including every deposit, progress ring, streak, milestone and share card. Oinkly Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that adds unlimited goals and the full Stats tab.

  • Length of subscription: one year, renewing automatically.
  • Price: the amount shown in the App Store for your region at the time of purchase, confirmed to you before you buy.
  • Free trial: new subscribers are offered a 3-day free trial. If you have already used a trial or subscription for this product, you may not be eligible, and the Application will show you the price without a trial.
  • Payment: charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase.
  • Renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Managing and cancelling: you can manage your subscription and switch off auto-renew in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your device at any time after purchase.
  • Unused trial time: if you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused portion of that trial is forfeited.

Purchases are processed by Apple, not by the Service Provider. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions; the Service Provider cannot issue refunds directly. If you cancel, Pro features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the Application returns to its free behaviour. Your goals and deposits are never deleted because a subscription ended.

6. Your data

The Application stores the goals, amounts and notes you enter locally on your device. It has no account system and sends nothing to the Service Provider. You are responsible for your device and for any backups you choose to keep. Deleting the Application deletes the data it holds. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

7. Your device

You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for the charges your mobile carrier may apply. Jailbreaking or rooting your device removes protections that the Application relies on and may stop it working correctly; the Service Provider accepts no responsibility for a device modified in that way.

8. Updates, availability and termination

The Application may be updated from time to time, and you may need to accept an update to keep using it. The Service Provider does not promise that the Application will always be compatible with the version of iOS installed on your device. The Service Provider may stop providing the Application, and may terminate this licence, at its own discretion and without notice to you. On termination you must stop using the Application and delete it from your device.

9. Maintenance and support

The Service Provider is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the Application. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support. You can reach the Service Provider through the Oinkly support page.

10. Warranty

The Application is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranty of any kind to the extent permitted by law. The Service Provider is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Application to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Application. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Application, including any loss of the data you have entered. Because the Application never holds or moves money, it cannot cause a financial loss to your savings themselves. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

12. Product claims

The Service Provider, and not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Application or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.

13. Intellectual property claims

In the event of any third-party claim that the Application or your possession and use of it infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, the Service Provider, and not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.

14. Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated by the United States Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

15. Third party terms

You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Application, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

16. Apple as third party beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of these terms, and that upon your acceptance of these terms Apple will have the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these terms against you as a third party beneficiary of them.

17. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the effective date above will be revised. You are advised to review this page regularly. Continued use of the Application is taken as acceptance of the terms in force at the time.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you live.

19. Contact

Questions, complaints or claims about the Application should be sent to Ankit Saxena at [email protected].
